This Doulton Lambeth Siliconware mug is typical of the large output of Siliconware by Eliza Simmance. It combines geometric patterns with delicate floral designs.
The mug has the impressed Doulton Lambeth Siliconware mark with the date 1884. It also has the incised monnogram of Eliza Simmance with her design number 753. The mug has a metal rim that is probably silver plated. The mug weighs 391g.
The mug is in excellent condiotion with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is slight wear to some of the applied black deliniation of the flowers, and porous surface has in places absorbed surface dirt. These defects are very minor ans are mentioned for accuracy.
