This 10.75in (27cm) Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase is a masterpiece by two of Doulton’s greatest designers – Florence Barlow and Eliza Simmance. Dating from the period from 1891 to 1902, it shows the mature style of both.

The vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth rosette mark without the word ’ENGLAND’, dating the vase to pre-1891. It is signed in monogram by Florence E Barlow, Eliza Simmance, and Rosina Brown. To the right of the pate-sur-pate bird composition is a roundel of random designs surrounded by a circle of formal patterns. This can be seen by pressing the 'Zoom Images' button and going to the last pictures. The vase is numbered 435 by Florence Barlow, and 600 by Eliza Simmance and weighs 1365g.

The vase is in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, crazing or significant scratches.
