A large (28.5cm – 11.5in) Doulton Lambeth vase by one of the most creative of the 19th century Doulton designers, but not too big to be easily shipped.
The vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark, the date 1882, and a host of incised monograms (see photos), including that of Frank A Butler. It is numbered 869 by Frank Butler. The vase weighs 1356g.
The vase is in excellent condition except for a professionally restored chip to the top rim. Fortunately this is at the back of the vase! Photos are available on request.
