A lovely Royal Doulton vase from the Art Deco period. The vase has a large and complex tubelined pattern that is repeated once only, on the reverse.
The 31.5cm (12.5in) vase has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with lion, dating it to after 1923, William Rowe’s incised monogram and his design number 529. It also has the incised monogram of William Rowe’s assistant Florrie Jones. The vase weighs 1372g.
The vase is in 100% mint condition, except that the surface suffers from fine crazing. This is mentioned for accuracy and is clearly visible only on close inspection.
