A mint condition pair of Art Nouveau Royal Doulton 19.5cm (7.75in) stoneware vases designed by Harry Simeon. The attribution to Harry Simeon is based on having seen a similar vase with his monogram incised underneath. Probably dating from the late 1920s, they have typical Art Nouveau colouring.

The vases have the Royal Doulton impressed mark with crown and lion, the series number 8104, and the incised monogram of one of Doulton’s finest decorators – Jane Hurst. The vases weigh 1084g.

The vases are in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing restoration or significant scratches. There is a colour variation between the two vases – see photos. One vase is 2mm taller than the other.
