This Royal Doulton vase is one of a series of 'drip glazed' designs by Vera Huggins, dating from the early 1930s. Lively glazes are permitted to merge and spread to produce a spectacular display of varied colours.
The 5in (12.5cm) vase has the impressed Royal Doulton mark with lion, and the series number 5069. It is indistinctly signed by the assistant who executed the Vera Huggins design. The vase weighs 939g.
There are no chips, cracks, or restorations to this vase and it is in original mint condition.
