For most people, a combination of brown and cream would sound like a boring colour scheme, but in the hands of a genius like Eliza Simmance, that is far from the case. Highlighted by a green circle at the lower part of the vase, and matching throat at the top, the design is eye-catching.
The 12in vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the word ‘ENGLAND’ underneath, indicating a date of 1982-1902. It is signed by Eliza Simmance and numbered 229 by her. The vase weighs 1167g.
The vase is 100% free of all chips cracks and restorations but does have a very slight ‘list’ to one side if not correctly visually aligned.
