A delightful top class matched set of a lemonade jug and two beakers. Many look at Art Deco items, and comment "That didn't take long to make!" when hearing the price. Well, the amount of workmanship in this lovely Victorain trio is enormous, and beautifully executed by one of Doulton's most skilled designers.
The 9.25in (23cm) jug and one of the beakers have the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and are signed in monogram by Elizabeth Sayers, and her assistant Harriet Hibbutt. The second beaker has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark, but is signed by Harriet Hibbutt only. All three items have the date of 1880 impressed in them. The jug and beakers weigh1982g.
