Royal Doulton stoneware Lily Partington vase - SOLD

A very pretty 15cm blue glazed vase from the Art Deco period with the impressed Doulton Circle Mark with Lion - 1922 onwards. It is signed with Lily Partington's monogram.
This shape is illustrated in Desmond Eyles' 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares' on page 221 as one of the 'Late Edition' shapes. This dates the vase to about 1935. The pale blue is unusual, when the usual blues used by Doulton at the time were cobalt and marine.
The vase is in perfect condition.
