Royal Doulton Art Nouveau stoneware vase by Florrie Jones - 7822A

This impressive large vase was probably designed by Harry Simeon. Vases of this shape are illustrated on page 223 of Desmond Eyles' 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares'. The use of tube-lined panels filled with clear colours is characteristic of the first few years of the 20th century, and in total contrast with the highly detailed work of the previous decades. The vase has the impressed Doulton Circle mark with Crown and Lion, the monogram of Florrie jones, and th impressed 'r' of Letitia Rosevear.

The vase is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or restoration
