Pair of Royal Doulton Art Nouveau stoneware vases - SOLD

This lovely pair of vases is Royal Doulton Art Nouveau at its best: a bold shape, a bold design and bold colours. Both vases have the impressed Doulton Circle mark with Crown and Lion and both are signed by Jane Hurst in monogram. Jane Hurst is recorded as working at Doultons from 1881 to 1914. In view of this the vases must date from the earlier period of tube-lined designs in the first 10-15 years of the 20th century, and not the 1930s.
The vases are in perfect condition with no cracks,chips, crazing or restoration.
