Art Deco Royal Doulton stoneware vase - 8565B

The shape of this vase was first used in about 1912, being one of Doulton's 'New Style' vases announced in that year. This one must be post-1922 as it has the Doulton Circle mark with only a Lion, that started in that year. The shape can be seen in Desmond Eyles' 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares' on pages 179 and 217. The vase has the mongram of Minnie Webb inscribed underneath.

The vase is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, crazing or restoration.
