This 12cm china vase has the Doulton Burslem mark with Crown dating it to 1886-91. It also has a monogram LL, but no series number. The monogram may be Leonard Langley who worked at Burslem from 1868-1916. It is strange to find Douton Burlem without series number. This was possibly made as a special, to order, and not as part of a production run. The gold outlining and highlighting is of the highest quality.
The vase is in exceptional condition. It has no cracks, chip, crazing or restoration. The only blemish is a ssmall amount of wear to about 8mm of the rim gilding - see photo.
