Doulton Burslem vase - A8452

This little vase has the Doulton Burslem mark dating it to 1891-1902, and a series mark A8452. It is decorated with poppies in pinks and oranges. The vase is hand painted over a transfer printed outline.

The vase is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration, but the glaze has fine crazing. The crazing does not detract from the overall appearance of the vase. The gilding shows a minimal amount of wear. The photos show the detail of this.
