Hallam and Day china ewer - 1199

This lively china ewer has decoration like the 'Spanish' ware of Doulton's Burslem factories: all the decoration is outlined and highlighted in gold. Items by Hallam and Day are very rarely seen.

The ewer is in good condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration. There is slight wear to the body of the ewer and to the gilding of the handle and rim.
