A lovely Doulton Burslem China 'Spanish' ware chine vase with decoration primarily in reds and pinks, but with blue birds added. The outlines and highlights of the 'Spanish' decoration are picked out in metallic gold lines. The vase has the Doulton Burslem mark without the word 'England' underneath, indicating a production period of 1886-1891. The vase is signed with a monogram GD.
The china vase is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restorations. There is some crazing, restricted to the underside of the vase - see photos.
