Doulton Burslem China 'Spanish' ware ewer - A2973

This tall imposing Doulton Burslem China 'Spanish' ware ewer has the Doulton Burslem mark without the word 'Engand' underneath, indicating production in the period 1886-1891. The outlines and highlights of the decoration are depicted with metallic gold lines.

The ewer is in good condition. There are no chips or restorations and the gilding is in perfect order. There is a tight hairline crack at the root of the handle and there is fine crazing to the body of the ewer.
