DESCRIPTION.
Hannah B Barlow worked at Doultons from 1871 to 1913. Her ability to capture animals in natural positions and in motion was never surpassed. The date incised under the beaker, 1875, places it firmly among her early works. It has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the date 1875 within it, and an item number 290. It is clearly signed with Hannah Barlow's monogram underneath.
CONDITION.
The beaker is in excellent condition, with no chips, restoration or crazing. There is a small stable shrinkage crack to the base, visible in the photos.
