A pair of early baluster-shaped (1883) Doulton Lambeth 9.25" (23cm) vases by Elizabeth Fisher, in the colours that were so often used in this period, brown, grey, and cobalt blue.

The vases have a combination of floral and geometric patterns, that are characteristic of the Doulton output of the late 19th Century. The vases have the impressed Doulton Lambeth Mark with a date of 1883, and the monograms of Elizabeth Fisher and Arthur Willcock. The vases also have Elizabeth Fisher's opus number 725.

The vases are in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. One vase has a small deposit of kiln grit on it, approx 3mm diameter.
