Royal Doulton Lambeth gourd shaped vase - SOLD

This vase is illustrated (in another colour) in 'The Doulton Lambeth Wares' by Desmond Eyles and Louise Irvine on page 218. The range of gourd vases was designed by Francis Pope, one of Doulton's leading designers, and it dates from about 1912. The vase has the Royal Doulton Lambeth mark, and the monograms of Francis C Pope and Emily Welch.

The vase is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration.
