DESCRIPTION.
This lovely pair of immaculate Doulton Lambeth vases by Edith Lupton was made in 1875. They have the impressed Doulton rosette mark, Lupton's signature and opus numbers (401 & 402), another monogram 'CB' and the date. Also feintly inscribed under both of them is "R O Blue on middle pattern".
CONDITION.
The vases are in mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, restoration, or significant scratches. The quality is superb, with no glaze overrun, or firing defects, except for the firing cracks underneath (see phots No4).
