The vase dates from about 1935. A vase of similar shape is illustrated on p220 of 'The Doulton lambeth Wares' by Desmond Eyles and Louise Irvine, and attributed to the date of 1935. The vase has the impressed Doultom mark with lion, and the series mark 8696. It also has the incised monogram of Ethel Beard.

The vase is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, crazing restoration or scratches
