A superb medium-sized Doulton Lambeth vase by the great designer Eliza Simmance, in mint condition, dating from the end of the 19th century.
The 8.25in Doulton Lambeth vase has the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark with the word ‘England’ underneath, dating the vase to the period 1892-1902. It also has the incised monogram of Eliza Simmance, the impressed monogram of her assistant, Louisa Ayling and the design number 429. Please note the subtlety of colour which give the vase an air of calm and tranquility. The vase weighs 635g.
The vase is in 100% mint condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, restorations, or significant scratches.
